Creator Dan LuVisi's
graphic novel "Last Man Standing", produced by Heavy Metal Magazine, has been acquired by Paramount as a 'multiplatform franchise
property'. Set 600 years in the future, the
book is about a soldier named 'Gabriel', a former 'Army-Tech Paladin', 'engineered' to help Earth win a long battle with Mars.
After returning to Earth, Gabriel is treated as a hero until he is framed for a crime by an underworld
syndicate.
After
nine years in prison, he breaks out and 'goes rogue'... Other characters in
the graphic novel include 'Alice', 'Dixie', 'Daisy', 'Fish' and 'Jawsome'.
