According to sources, Marvel Studios' "Thor 2", currently in development,
will feature Marvel Comics' character "The Enchantress" as one of the villains, alongside "The Executioner".
'The Enchantress', aka 'The Valkyrie', 'Leena Moran', 'Amora Incantare', 'Amora Lorelei' and 'Helen Eve', debuted in Marvel Comics "Journey into Mystery" #103, (April 1964), created by writer Stan Lee and illustrator Jack Kirby.
As a member of the alien race known as the 'Asgardians', the Enchantress possesses superhuman strength,
speed, stamina and durability.
She can also manipulate ambient magical
energy to project 'power bolts', realize interdimensional teleportation, build protective energy shields, create illusions,
levitate, conjure, transmute, time-disrupt, mind switch and mind control.
The Enchantress has also used sorcery to enhance her natural beauty and allure, charging her lips,
so that by kissing virtually any man she can make him her slave.
'Skurge', aka the
'Executioner', born in 'Jotunheim', gained his name after fighting in a war against the 'Storm Giants'. Skurge is in love
with the 'Enchantress' and regularly assists her in various evil schemes to gain control of 'Asgard'. However, the Enchantress
only manipulates Skurge, using her charms to keep him under control.
